Partners For Inclusion Area Facilitator
I returned to PFI in November 2015 as a Service Leader having worked with the organisation a few years ago. Recently I took on role of Area Facilitator. The decision to return to the organisation was an easy one for me, as I always tried to use their values and approaches to person centred work wherever I’d gone. I initially joined PFI as a team leader in 2005 and spent 2 and a half years in this role, previous to this I’d work for 10 years in a day centre, both of these roles enabled me to develop my knowledge and skills.
Since 2007 I’ve spent most of my time working in a Mental Health Service based in Ayr which enabled me to continue to develop skills/knowledge and confidence. Away from work I enjoy playing golf or snooker and watching most other sports on TV. Football is a particular favourite and I go to my son’s games most weeks. I also enjoy going abroad on holiday and socialising with friends and family.
