Partners for Inclusion has expertise in working with people who challenge services and we believe that this often happens where a service is unable to adequately meet the person’s needs. Individually designed services delivered within existing cost restraints therefore makes sense to us and represents a better way forward.
Each person lives in their own home throughout Ayrshire, Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire, some alone, some people have live in staff (flatmates), some with families etc. To date no-one has chosen to live with another person with a disability.
Partners for Inclusion is committed to person-centred values and ultimately providing a service that is truly centred around the person we support. We focus on the use of maximising the use of natural and community supports, and relationships within the persons life. We have developed effective partnerships with the people we support, their families, and our multi-agency partners.
Partners for Inclusion has a specific commitment to the quality of service we provide, and now that we support 45 people, we have stopped developing new services in order to focus our energies on the lives of people we already support. The appointment of our Employment Development Coordinator is testimony to our commitment.
Partners for Inclusion is registered with the Care Commission as providers of 'Care at Home' and 'Housing Support Services'. We are inspected annually and measured against the National Care Standards for these services. Many of our policies and work practices are directly influenced by these standards.
