Support Practitioners for Jack (MS/LB)

We are looking for a highly motivated person to provide support to a young man living in his own home in the East Renfrewshire Area Jack is well known in his local community.  Jack enjoys a very structured day from walking for miles, going to the Gym, going to his art class, going to his work and spending time with family and friends.
This is an excellent opportunity if you have the following skills and want to be a part of a small team, you should have a good knowledge and understanding of supporting someone to live in their own home promoting Jack’s independence and experience supporting people to make new friends and build on current friendships, enable Jack to build connection’s in his local area, support Jack to find new opportunity’s for work . Be able to recognize when Jack wants his own space, be confident in maintaining  boundaries.

  2. Hours:  PT 2 x 14 Hours shift work may include evening, weekends, and public holidays
  3. Rate of Pay: £8:75

Requirements for this vacancy

Must have previous experience or social care qualification

This position comes under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions Order).

In line with the Scottish Social Services Council you will be required to have or work towards an appropriate qualification in order to register with them. You will require to be registered with the PVG scheme before being employed with our organisation.
