Support Worker for Elaine (ZM/LL/EF)

Elaine is looking for female support workers to provide 8 hours support over 2 days. Elaine lives in her own home along with her cat so it is very important that anyone working with her likes cats. Elaine enjoys gardening and being outdoors and is trying to keep as active as possible, she is also very artistic.

Elaine is hugely independent however needs support with the following; organising the running of her home, including bills, maintenance, housework and shopping, support to arrange and attend some appointments, prioritising and organising tasks, including help to put systems in place so that she is confident that she knows what she needs to do and when, also support to communicate and deal with people eg: business workers and workmen.

  3. Rate of Pay: £8:45 plus overnight payment

Elaine is looking for someone with the following skills and/or qualities:

  • A good understanding and experience of household bills and dealing with companies
  • Good at planning
  • Confidence
  • Calm under pressure and in unusual situations
  • Strong personality/don’t take things to heart easily
  • Able to use your own initiative
