A Fairer Scotland for Disabled People: Employment Action Plan.

We are delighted to invite you and colleagues to attend a consultation/ involvement events on the development of our internal Scottish Government Disability Recruitment and Retention Action Plan which will be launched on the 26th of June. This is part of the A Fairer Scotland for Disabled People: Employment Action Plan.

As part of this work we are asking for your help in making sure the Scottish Government is a workplace without barriers for disabled colleagues. The Action plan will be developed working with the Scottish Government Disability and Mental Health Network as well as the Unions.

The workshops are to identify what you think are the key priorities for action for disabled colleagues and this information will inform the development of our Action Plan.

This is an opportunity for your organisation to send one representative each who have a knowledge and understanding of this area of work and can help shape our internal Scottish Government Disability Recruitment and Retention Action Plan.
