How we are organised

This page tells you about how Partners is organised. Partners for Inclusion is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. It has a Board of Trustees.

Board of Trustees

Partners has a Board of Trustees – people who don’t work for the organisation. The Board meets four times a year.

The Board members are:

The Board is responsible for making sure:

  • the organisation is properly managed
  • is doing what it is supposed to do
  • has a strategy for the future.
  • The Board meets quarterly and has one away day per year for the purpose of planning. The Board’s purpose is about governance.  This is to do with keeping the organisation free from undue risk, looking after finances and the general direction of the organisation as well as ensuring the legal aspects are dealt with including the rules contained in the Memorandum and Articles of Association.  The Trustees will approve the Annual Budget and Strategic plan.

The Board delegates day-to-day management of the organisation to the Chief Executive Director, Pete Richmond who is responsible for the work of Partners’ 300 staff.
