Kayla is a happy, energetic young woman who is supported in her own home. Kayla really enjoys the company of others and enjoys meeting with friends and spending time with her family. Kayla enjoys listening to music, watching TV, playing card games, watching sports, and doing puzzles on her iPad.

Kayla requires a Support Practitioner who is:

  • Enthusiastic and motivated,
  • Able to think outside the box,
  • Will encourage Kayla to try new things and get out and about in her community,
  • Can support Kayla to maintain good health,
  • Will support Kayla to maintain her relationships and promote new friendships,
  • Able to support Kayla with all aspects of independent living, including personal care, medication and maintaining her home to a high standard,
  • Has good listening skills and excellent communication skills.

Requirements for this vacancy

The right person for this role will:

Hold a current, clean driving licence and be willing to drive Kayla’s motability vehicle,

Understand that all behavior is communication,

Have an understanding of person centred approaches,
