We are recruiting a Senior Support Practitioner to work and lead teams, with people who have a wide range of support needs, to live independently in their own homes by providing practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve outcomes in all aspects of his life e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health, and wellbeing.
Achieve this by leading teams of support practitioners, putting the person supported front and centre of their support adhering to the principles of the health and social care standards, person-centered approach, aligned to our beliefs.
Experience and Skills Required
- Experience in supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
- Strong leader with experience in positively leading a small team of support practitioners.
- Experience working with various stakeholders.
- IT competent
- Excellent Communication and literacy skills.
Requirements
- Undertake shiftwork and sleepovers.
- SVQ Level 3 or above
- Member of PVG Scheme
Desirable
- Driver
- Experience of Positive Behaviour Support
- Experience of trauma-based Support.
