Fraser is looking for people to support him on his journey into adulthood, he currently lives with his parents in the family home; however, is planning to have his own house soon. Fraser has recently left school and is exploring options of places he likes to go; things he likes to do and people he might want to spend time with as he develops as a young adult. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Fraser’s journey within the transition period of moving to his own home, developing his skills to live life as independently as possible and working out what his adult life may look like. When Fraser moves into his own home, he will require overnight support from his team.

Fraser enjoys being out and about in his local community, as well as travelling into Glasgow City Centre or some days going further afield, he also enjoys spending time at home with his family and being out in his garden.

Fraser is looking for motivated, enthusiastic and confident people to be part of his team, he wants people who will stick to the boundaries that keep him safe and help him to manage the more difficult days as he matures and moves forward with his life. For this role and to be part of our organisation you need to be able to work effectively within a small team, you require to be flexible, approachable and respect others’ views as well as being able to express your own. Being creative and forward thinking is an advantage as this will help with planning for Fraser.

You can only be appointed for this post if you are registered with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and are able to register with the Scottish Social Services Council when required for your post.
