Smith is looking to recruit a few new team members, he currently has a vacancy for 14 hours. Smith is supported from 8.30am until 10pm each day.
Smith lives in the Neilston area of East Renfrewshire, he has his own flat and has become a valued member of his community through the various places he visits and the employment opportunities he has undertaken.
Smith has a fairly busy life, he keeps in touch with his family, enjoys going to an art class, the cinema and eating out. Smith also likes to get away for short breaks and needs support to go.
If you feel you can support him to do this, we would like to hear from you. You should be fit and healthy as Smith likes to walk miles every day and is part of the local walking club. You should be comfortable with silence and afford Smith with his own space when need be. You should be confident in maintaining boundaries to support Smith to move towards enhancing his independence and always be seeking to identify areas where Smith can be supported to be more independent. You also need to be reliable and flexible, willing to work at weekends and public holidays.
