Steven is looking to recruit a few new team members, he currently has vacancies for a part time team member and a casual team member. Steven is supported from 8.30am until 10pm each day.
Steven lives in the Neilston area of East Renfrewshire in his own flat. He has become a valued member of his community through the various places he visits and the employment opportunities he has undertaken.
Steven has a fairly busy life, he keeps in touch with his family, enjoys going to an art class, the cinema and eating out. Steven also likes to get away for short breaks and needs support to go.
If you feel you can support him to do this, we would like to hear from you. You should be fit and healthy as Steven likes to walk miles every day and is part of the local walking club. You should be comfortable with silence and afford Steven with his own space when need be. You should be confident in maintaining boundaries to support Steven to move towards enhancing his independence. You should always be seeking to identify areas where Steven can be supported to be more independent. You also need to be reliable and flexible, willing to work at weekends and public holidays.
