Female Support Practitioners for Frieda (AG/DK)

Frieda has a learning disability and mental health issues and has enjoyed living in her own home in Ayr for the last 10 years. Frieda is a chatty, sociable lady who has many friends that she likes to socialise with. She loves to have regular contact with her family and is supported to maintain this by calling them and meeting up with them regularly.

She enjoys going out for coffee, meeting up with friends and relaxing at home watching her favourite T.V programmes. Frieda also enjoys  cooking with her staff team, looking after her house and going on holidays. Frieda is an extremely independent woman who is very able to make decisions about her life, however can at times be very direct in her approach.

Frieda needs Support Practitioners who are able to encourage her independence, can maintain boundaries, are friendly and chatty and able to understand and communicate with her when she is feeling unsure and anxious. It is also important that Frieda’s team members are consistent in their approach, able to follow direction, are reliable, flexible and wholly committed to providing an excellent self managed support service.
