Here’s a bit about myself to give you an insight into my world…
When it comes to music, I like to spin the decks. I’m a bit of
a dancer also, and love to bust a move at the clubs I go to.
I have my own car (automatic) to get me out and about, so a driver is essential.
I’m trying to get into a healthy lifestyle with support from my team and I’m enjoying getting a bit more active, going walking, swimming and working on my guns at the gym.
All this out and about helps me work up an appetite, so, if you love your grub as much as I do, we’d be two peas in a pod. I can cook up a storm in the kitchen, although, I can get a bit carried away and need some strong supportive guidance to keep me healthy.
As my Support Practitioner, I have a list of essential qualities that is needed for me:
- An understanding and/or experience of autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Be available to workdays, evenings, weekends, sleepovers.
- Carry out 1:1 support along with 2:1 support.
- Identifying skills and areas for development.
- Link in with Service Support Practitioner/ Service Leader.
- Have a flexible can-do attitude.
- Excellent and clear-communication, IT, listening and written skills.
- Update relevant paperwork
