Here’s a bit about myself to give you an insight into my world…
I have my own car to get me out and about, so a driver is essential.
I enjoy going out and about with support from my team and I’m enjoying getting a bit more active and going for a walking, I enjoy going out in my car and going for a long drive in the country. I love listening to music and sensory items. I like to relax in my house and watch T.V. and films.
As my Support Practitioner, I have a list of essential qualities that is needed for me:
- An understanding and/or experience of autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Be available to workdays, evenings, weekends, sleepovers.
- Carry out 1:1 support
- Identifying skills and areas for development.
- Link in with Service Leader.
- Have a flexible can-do attitude.
- Excellent and clear-communication, IT, listening and written skills.
- Update relevant paperwork
