Female Support Practitioner – East Renfrewshire/Neilston – EF/ZM

Edith is looking for someone motivated to join her team.  Edith lives in her own home and requires a low level of support.  This could include things like filing and organising paperwork, shopping and some cleaning, occasional trips out for lunch or a visit to a local coffee shop, having a chat and giving emotional support.  Support may also include going along to appointment with Edith or simply supporting her to get there as she has a physical condition that results in severe exhaustion and physical weakness

Experience working with mental health services would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have a full, clean UK driving licence and have their own car to use for work purposes, the organisation will pay additional costs for business insurance if required.

Requirements:

• Must be willing to work towards a relevant qualification for registration with the SSSC.  In line with the Scottish Social Services Council, you will be required to have or to work towards SVQ level 2/3 in social care (or equivalent).
• You will require to be registered with the PVG scheme before being employed with our organisation.
