Support Practitioner – FT/SMcK – 14 hours plus sleepover

Steven is a young man who lives in his own home in East Renfrewshire, he requires support within his home and to go out and about.

Steven enjoys going out in his car, so a full Driver’s License would be essential. He also enjoys his I Pad, watching DVD’s, listening to and playing music, swimming, assisted cycling, and sensory activities. Steven also  enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Steven is very friendly and can be quite tactile as this is how he communicates.

Steven likes to meet up with people who have similar interests and loves a bit of banter with his team members and his family. Steven has a very close family that he spends time with every week.

You need to have a SVQ Level 2/3 in Social Care (or equivalent) or willing to work towards this and you can only be appointed for this post if you are registered with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and are able to register with the Scottish Social Services Council when required for your post.

Please note for this post there is a need for candidates to participate in a Rota which include evening and weekends.
