Support Practitioner – LAM/ZM/SC – 27hrs per week (2 x positions available)

Steven is looking to recruit a few new team members and is supported from 8.30am until 10pm each day. 

Steven lives in the Neilston area of East Renfrewshire in his own flat. He has become a valued member of his community through the various places he visits and the employment opportunities he has undertaken. Steven enjoys quite a busy life; he attends an art class, volunteers at a foodbank, and enjoys going to the gym, the cinema and eating out.  Steven loves spending time with his family and likes to get away for short breaks with his support team.

Steven needs boundaries and structure and benefits from a staff team who are confident in promoting this in a clear and consistent manner.

A full Driving License would be desirable.
The post involves days, evenings, weekends and public holidays on a rota basis.

You can only be appointed for this post if you are registered with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and are able to register with the Scottish Social Services Council when required for your post, also you must have an SVQ Level 2/3 in Social Care (or equivalent) or willing to work towards this
