Hi I’m Jim. I am 46 years old and will be moving into my new home in Renfrew. I am looking for a team who are confident and will help me make my house a home. I would like a team who have positive attitudes to life and will help me become part of my local community. I would like my team to be good listeners when needed, have the ability to remain calm in difficult situations. I need my team to help motivate me and bring ideas of new experiences into my life and encourage me to be all I can be. My team need to be able to work flexible hours, including sleepovers.
Other skills I am looking for are:
- Able to work in a person-centred way
- The ability to keep me at the heart of everything we do
- Good IT skills
- Will work on own initiative and as part of at team
Requirements:
Must be willing to work towards a relevant qualification for registration with the SSSC. In line with the Scottish Social Services Council, you will be required to have or to work towards an appropriate qualification in order to register with them.
You will require to be registered with the PVG scheme before being employed with our organisation.
You should have a real interest in supporting people with disabilities to be part of their local and wider community.
